New Open Mic Comedy Show every Thursday at Sidelines Bar in Sparks

Starting this Thursday, July 22nd, there will be a new open mic comedy show venue at Sidelines Bar in Sparks. This will be a free weekly show starting every Thursday at 8:30pm and the bar will have various drink specials.
SIDELINES is at 1237 BARING BLVD in Sparks, across the street from REED HIGH SCHOOL in the Smith's Plaza.
COMEDY THURSDAYS - 8:30 PM.
DRINK SPECIALS - NO COVER.

Tonight is the first night of live streaming comedy at http://renostandup.com/live! We will be streaming the (10pm) wednesday night open mic at 3rd street bar in downtown Reno. We'd like to regularly stream the open mic, but of course it's always better to be there and you can't vote for the winner online.
If your competing in the competition, this will be a great chance to tell any friends or family from out of town that can't make it to the show that they can watch you bomb online!
When we are not streaming live video, we will be playing some standup clips etc. that I have. If you would like to broadcast live on the RenoStandUp channel or have some videos that you would like played, please send an email to admin@renostandup.com!

Comedy 4 Kindness Competition at The Siena July 2nd

This Friday, July 2nd will be the first of hopefully many Comedy for Kindness Competitions. Proceeds for the show will go to think kindness, which is an awesome non profit organization that will be sending shoes and medical supplies to orphans in Kenya. You can learn more about think kindness and their programs at thinkkindness.org!
The show will be at the loft located in the upstairs area of the Siena. Admission is free, but a suggested donation of $5 is greatly appreciated!
The competition portion of the show will consist of 8 to 10 comics competing for a cash prize. The winner will be chosen by the audience, so if you know someone who is preforming, make sure you come out and support them!
Drink specials include $3 Well Drinks, Martinis, Domestics, House Wine, and $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon.
