Walker River Girls Fastpitch and the Josh Farler Helping Hands Foundation will host comedian Dave Reilly for a fundraiser show in March.
Reilly's two-hour stand-up adventure, titled a Country Comedy Nite, will be presented on Saturday, March 13, at 7 p.m. at the Lyon County Fairgrounds metal barn building.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show is for patrons 21 and over. IDs will be checked, and only 600 tickets will be sold.
There will also be a no-host bar during the show, and dancing after, with a DJ providing the music.
Reilly says his comedy is aimed at the 30-60-year-old age group, those who "have love, life and relationship experience."
Reilly will also be performing several illusions before his comedy act, which features his popular catch phrase of "I didn't know!"
Tickets may be purchased at www.countrycomedynite.eventbrite.com at $20 apiece (plus handling fee).
Walker River Girls Fastpitch is a non-profit softball league for girls 8-18.
The Josh Farler Helping Hands Foundation is a non-profit group that helps local families with medical-related expenses that are not covered by insurance.
